Urgh...

This is one of my favourite e4 stings that I've seen... the illustrations are gorgeous, its amazing, I love it. The movement through the frame (if this makes sense) is really interesting... it actually looks like the camera's panning up/down...

Oh and I thought I'd put the brief on here just because I'll lose the paper copy... it's inevitable...

The Brief:
Design and produce a title sequence for a proposed E4 TV programme- ‘Top 10 Best/Worst…\
Your response should aim to clearly communicate the subject, concept, content and mood of the programme in such a way that will engage an audience who have chosen to tune in.

Target Audience:
Your audience will be interested in your subject matter to want to tune in. They will probably already hold their own opinions regarding their own best/worst. It is your task to engage them from the start.

Tone of Voice:
Tone of voice should be appropriate to the content and consider the profile of your audience. You will need to state your audience as part of the development of your resolution.

Background:
Title sequences for TV programmes are the most widely viewed examples of Motion Graphics in contemporary visual culture. Their primary function is to present the programme details, set the scene/mood and often establish a brand identity of a programme/series.

Mandatory Requirements:
Your final sequence should be between 30 and 50 seconds in length. It should be in a 16:9 format and be delivered as a Quicktime movie.
You will need to present supporting research, design development, storyboards and test pieces in the form of an interactive portfolio produced using iWeb
The numbers 1-10 (or10-1) should provide the visual focus of your resolution.

Deliverables:
1x title sequence (30-50 secs)
Comprehensive research and development work presented as an interactive portfolio. This should include initial research and development, storyboards and test pieces as well as evidence of ongoing evaluation
